An image detection method based on the ring light section method was developed to measure deep holes with complex surfaces, especially rifled gun barrels.

The measuring system consists of a laser diode, an optical ring pattern generator and a CCD camera.

In this paper a complete small signal analysis for semiconductor laser frequency chirping in the presence of optical fiber ring feedback is presented.
