Something changed in that moment of time asI stood in a dark room looking at black monitors and wearing sun glasses while anuclear event was taking place yards away.

And then Mr. Chen came into view conspicuous for being the only still point in that sea of motion…and the only one sporting a pair of clunky binoculars the only one watching the watchers of the river.

We have been monitoring the star very closely with Fermi and many other telescopes to try to figure out what is going on (this could be the topic of a whole blog entry all by itself).
