相对丰度又称同位素丰度比(isotopic abundance ratio)，指气体中轻组分的丰度C与其余组分丰度之和的比值。在生态中相对丰度：群落内物种数目的多少。不同的群落中物种丰度是不同的，从赤道到南北极，群落的物种丰度逐渐减少。物种丰度（species richness）越大，其结构就越复杂，抵抗力稳定性就大。
