Mobile phone companies should consider whether a new charger is now needed with every handset if an old one after the unified standard can be recycled.

There's also a plan for a range of armbands and belt clips to hold the charger while you are on the move.

Mobile phone operator Orange said on Tuesday it had teamed up with GotWind, a firm specializing in renewable energy, to produce a recharger powered by dance energy alone.
