There are three major component in the renovation of the Shuibei Industrial Area: Masterplan, Architectural facade renovation, and landscape design.

The new ZAO/standardarchitecture studio, located to the North of Qingnian Lake Park, was renovated from an aged warehouse, with its old industrial facade still displaying on the street front.

Cabinet fronts are made from wooden planks, while lamps are formed using old milk cans, and ceiling coverings in the basement were once tablecloths.
