Objective: To explore the mechanism of Tangxinning Capsule (TXC) for the treatment of diabetic coronary heart disease.

Conclusion Isolated coronary artery ectasia is unusual in the patients underwent coronary angiography and associated with the traditional risk factors, except diabetes.

CONCLUSIONS: This prospective study suggests that diabetes and elevated glucose levels are associated with incident CHD in the general Japanese population.
