CONCLUSIONS Dietary fiber is associated with reduced diabetes risk, which may be partly explained by inflammatory markers and hepatic fat deposition.

This paper summarizes the progress of dietary fiber in the therapy of diabetes mellitus(DM). Furthermore, the possible mechanism of dietary fibre clinical therapy of DM is introduced.
