The influences of the aspect ratio and wall roughness on the coolant flow characteristics, which mainly involve pressure loss, secondary flow and turbulence intensity, were investigated.

Asymmetric profile of turbulence intensity is eventurally reached when measuring direction is changed from vertical and inclined to horizontal ones.

The relationship of the fluctuating pressure coefficient on wall and the turbulent intensity near the wall can be described with logarithmic curve.
