Most European stocks declined as the Stoxx Europe 600 Index dropped for the first time in seven days before the Federal Reserve's last regular meeting this year.

With the completion of the second round of quantitative easing (QE) in June, the market is now speculating whether the U. S. Federal Reserve will announce a third round at their April 28 meeting.

Perhaps the Friday's jobs number was the final catalyst for the Fed to confirm round 2 of their QE measures and this announcement could be made as early as the next meeting come November.
