股份制亦称“股份经济”是指以入股方式把分散的，属于不同人所有的生产要素集中起来，统一使用，合理经营，自负盈亏，按股分红的一种经济组织形式。也是企业财产所有制的一种形式。股份制的基本特征是生产要素的所有权与使用权分离，在保持所有权不变的前提下，把分散的使用权转化为集中的使用权。
