Objective To compare the diagnostic accuracy of solitary pulmonary nodules by a dry laser printer with that of a paper printer.

Objective: to develop and evaluate an integrated method that automatically segments lung parenchyma in whole lung helical ct scans for the automated detection of pulmonary nodules.

The nodules are scattered and patchy in distribution, and predominate posteriorly and in the upper lobes. The nodules show symmetrical involvement (Figure 2, Figure 3) of both upper lobes.
