Dubai, which built the world's tallest building, palm-shaped islands with hotels and the world's first seven-star hotel, has thousands of empty hotel rooms and visitor levels are stagnant.

While the Burj al Arab hotel in Dubai is the most widely referenced seven-star hotel, it was never formally awarded such a mark.

The other projects will be built one by one in the early of 2008. Among them, the Superstar Hotel is 200m high and will be as the most famous Seven-star Hotel as the Caravel Hotel of Dubai.
