Objective to observe the effects of genistein on learning and memory of ovariectomized rats and look for new drug instead of estradiol to prevent or treat neurodegenerative diseases after menopause.

The effects of genistein and daidzein on the proliferation of human breast cancer cell line in vitro were studied by cell culture and MTT colorimetric method.
