Properties, application and future trend of rare earth elements in electrodeposition of chromium, tin, zinc, Zn-Ni, Ni-Fe and composite coatings are summarized.

The purpose of this article was to improve the corrosion resistance of aluminum and its alloys. Zinc-nickel dipping and subsequent electroplating was adopted.
