镍黄铜，在铜锌合金基础上加入镍的黄铜。65Cu-30Zn-5Ni是典型的α镍黄铜，镍能提高合金的强度和韧性，并能增强合金的抗脱锌及抗应力腐蚀的能力。合金在软态时的拉伸强度为400MPa，延伸率为65%，能很好地冷、热压力加工成管、板、带、线，有良好的切削性的焊接性。用于制造金属钱币、压力表管、造纸网、船用冷凝管及其他耐蚀耐压管件。
