Objective To discuss the correlation between tyre bursting and traffic accidents on highways.

Through analysis of the traffic accidents data of one expressway, especially accident frequency, severity and causes, the safety management system is also an important factor of accident.

Then, it studied the related problems about the characteristics of highway traffic accidents and emergency traffic organization issues.
