黄原酸
黄原酸（xanthogenic acid）是硫代硫赶碳酸（sulfo-tbi-ocarbonic acid，H—OCS·S—H）的O-烷基酯的总称，它的通式相当于R—O—CS·SH的结构，在这种状态下极不稳定，例如乙基黄原酸（ethyl-xanthogenic acid，C2H5—O—CS·SH）在25℃以上分解成乙醇和二硫化碳。因此大多数都以黄原酸的盐类（R·O—CS，S—Me）状态加以保存及使用，其钾盐比钠盐稳定，但是遇水时容易分解。不含硫代碳酸的黄原酸盐，是淡黄色粉末，对它的毒性尚不十分清楚，但在分解时由于产生二硫化碳，因此对其毒性要注意。
