Is there any work being done on an offline data sync framework to help simplify this part of the development paradigm?

是不是有这样一种离线的数据同步框架来帮助简化这部分的开发呢？

Cubby is the first service built on LogMeIn's very own cloud data sync and storage platform letting people turn any number of PC or Mac folders into 'cubbies' that can be accessed from other devices, stored in the cloud, and shared with colleagues and friends.

ENGADGET: LogMeIn's Cubby offering up 1GB for referrals, tells Dropbox where it can store it

Cubby is built on LogMeIn's own cloud data sync and storage service - not hosted on a third party cloud data platform - and takes advantage of the same online-banking-level encryption capabilities used in LogMeIn's connectivity offerings (like LogMeIn Free and Pro, LogMeIn Rescue and join.me).

ENGADGET: LogMeIn prices Cubby cloud storage in Basic and Pro tiers

More data on the device is more data to sync in the cloud which would result in higher fees for iCloud usage.
