太空发射系统又叫空间发射系统（Space Launch System，简称SLS）。是一种从航天飞机演变而来的超重型运载火箭，由美国国家航空暨太空总署设计，主要目的是维持星座计划的进行以及取代已经退役的航天飞机（Space Transportation System，简称 STS）。第一阶段以70到110吨的星座计划载人任务为主，之后会发展出130吨的货舱型载荷任务。最终的运载能力将达到143吨，甚至有可能达到165吨。整体而言，太空发射系统与土星五号非常相近。号称史上最强运载火箭系统。
