Besides the Zune Pad just not feeling quite right (sweeping motions didn't predictably correspond to cursormovement), it's also worth mentioning that our experience with the Zune Pad wasn't entirely bug free, either.
Whenever there's a hiccup in my Metro flow, I have to rack up around a foot (30cm) of total mouse movement to get my cursor over to the Metro panel and put things back on track.
