It makes sense since both industries have such large footprints, requiring large amounts of materials and supplies, creating business for realtors, lenders, lumber, cement, and window producers, plumbing, electrical fixture and paint suppliers, furniture and fabric manufacturers, attorneys, TV and print advertising, to name but a few.
