In the Santa Monica case, Lohan is accused of giving false information to a police officer, obstructing or resisting a police officer in performance of his duty, and recklessdriving, according to the city attorney's office.
He said he will meet with prosecutors on Friday to try to reach a resolution in Lohan's newest case, which includes misdemeanor charges of recklessdriving and obstructing officers from performing their duties.
He points to stats from Virginia's Joint Legislative Audit Review Commission showing an 11% decrease in recklessdriving arrests since the new law passed, while speeding tickets have dropped off slightly.
