The present invention discloses an improved structure air-cooler, the air-cooler includes frame and heat transfer tube, the heat transfer tube is circular tube, several rows of heat transfer tubes are installed in the frame and fixed with the frame, the pipe diameters and the central distances of heat transfer tubes in same horizontal row are both equal, two circle centers of two adjacent heat transfer tubes in same horizontal row and one circle centers of longitudinal corresponding heat transfer tube are in isosceles triangle, the pipe diameters of adjacent two horizontal rows of heat transfer tubes are not equal. The invention also discloses a manufacturing method of improved structure air-cooler. The improved structure air-cooler and its manufacturing method optimizes and designs the diameter and arrangement of heat pipe through changing the diameter of heat transfer tubes in two adjacent horizontal rows and the vertical distance between them, it not only reserve the advantages of strong bearing capability, simple structure and low cost, but also reduce the wind resistance out the tubes in maximum limit under the condition of the heat transfer requirement is achieved, reduce fan energy consumption, and effectively improves the heat transfer coefficient and increase economic benefits.
