abstract:Hunt Club is a large suburban neighbourhood in the southern part of Ottawa, Canada. The area is named after the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club, which used to own much of the land where the community is now situated and is still a major presence.
Which is not to say back alleys aren't still called "lanes, " or oyster-and-pig roasts on neighboring Tybee Island are no longer steeped in local fish-camp-hunt club tradition.
While you're there, treat yourself to a shiatsu massage or dine at the charmingly old-school HuntClub or the Fireside Room, which retain the feel of an exclusive members' club.
