潜意识边缘即limbo 出自《盗梦空间》 为了更深层的梦境而加大剂量的麻醉剂，在梦境里死了之后，却因为现实中麻醉剂还没失效而回不到现实，这时就会去到潜意识边缘。潜意识边缘已经没有时间概念，现实的一秒等于Limbo的永恒。那是一个混沌，荒芜的梦境，只有无穷的原始潜意识。进入以后，除非有极大的意念不迷失自我，再通过几年甚至几十年才出现的kick回到现实。已经去过limbo的人可以通过自杀返回真实世界。
